Does anyone know of funded masters programs in theoretical computer science? I've always wanted to study abroad, so international programs are welcome as well, especially if their Fall deadlines aren't over yet, and if they don't require 3 LORs (I've been self-employed for a couple years since undergrad, so reference letters are hard to come by...). [Reason: I applied to grad schools this year, and got into UT Austin and Georgia Tech, but I'm a little unsure of them. I could see myself happy, but also easily unhappy for a couple reasons. It sounds like transferring grad schools midway through is kinda hard, so I'm wondering if I should boost my app and get LORs by doing a masters first. It would also, I hope, help me settle down my interests: I think I want to do complexity theory, but I'm not sure if I'm really that good at it, and I've been seriously interested in various orthogonal areas in the past.]
