  1. Hey all- Congrats to everyone who got in! Now on to financing our degrees... Did anyone send in a proof of citizenship to the financial aid office? I don't know if I'm reading this incorrectly, but this link (http://www.tc.columbia.edu/financialaid/index.asp?Id=General+Information&Info=Newly+Admitted+Students) says that we "are required to submit a copy of your passport or naturalization documents to the Office of Financial Aid"? Does this apply for everyone?
  2. Good News! Everything is processed and ready to go. All we have to do is wait until March! Good Luck everyone :-)
  3. Hello, I've noticed that a whole lot of you guys applied to Harvard. Exciting! I'm having a bit of trouble with the application webpage, and was wondering if any of you guys would be able to shed some light on it. I've recently submitted my online materials, and when I check my application process/status, it says that my GRE scores and Transcripts have not been recieved. I checked with both the ETS and my undergraduate institution, and they have told me that everything was processed and sent. Is anybody else noticing the same problem? Thanks in advance. Hope to hear from someone soon!
  4. Does anyone know anything about getting certified for Montessori schools? If getting a master's in education might help or hinder during the hiring process? Are there graduate programs affiliated with montessori?
  5. Hi all, I was wondering if gender and race comes into any serious consideration when applying to some of the more competitive programs. I was looking at the elementary education programs in the Curry school at UVA and TC at Columbia. I am male and of Korean decent, and seeing as how I don't hear of many applicants (or teachers, for that matter) of my background, I would have an edge. Or my fear is, that being male would inhibit my chances of getting in to Elementary Education programs.
