I've cut and pasted what someone else wrote in the 2018 forum for this program (located on page 5 of that gradcafe forum).  Apparently in 2016 there were 116 applicants and 62 of them got offers (because people turn down the offer as they get accepted to other programs).  I'm guessing this year will be somewhat similar unless the popularity of the program has either decreased or increased significantly over the past three years.  

 

For last year's intake, there were 116 domestic applicants, and 62 of them received offers of admission (and subsequently 36 of those applicants accepted the offer). So it appears more than half of applicants get in. On the other hand, it appears you shouldn't waste time and resources applying if you're an international applicant.

Hey that's awesome! It means you're at least as competitive as everyone else. I'm sure that doesn't affect your level of anxiety much, though.

I'd do it if I were you. The only reason I'm not is because I was told end of Feb and there's technically 2 days left. Going CRAZY, but I've resolved to email Friday if I haven't heard yet

"End of February maybe beginning of March" sounded like such a definite timeline at the interviews but now feels like an entire century where I am anxious every moment of every day

Worries: Dream School's web portal (where apparently *everyone* finds out first) is glitching for me and I can't log in/refresh obsessively

Excitement: ??? The fantasy that only my portal is down because the web devs are personally editing it to reflect my admission ??

Haha nope!!!!!!!!! Going a little crazy here. Interviews were about 3-4 weeks ago and they said we wouldn't hear back until end of feb / beginning of march. Maybe they want to finish the MSc apps before moving on to MHI? Seems like the timelines coincide

Applied to Health Services Research MSc program with an Emphasis on Health Informatics at UofT. Our deadline to apply was November but almost no one has posted about the program in the last 6 years ? So this is as close to my potential future cohort as I will get!
