I thought it would be fun to start a little roll call of where we are attending so we can possibly connect with other members of our cohorts and share our successes! I'll start: I'll be attending UMASS Amherst in the fall!

Anyone going to UMASS Amherst? I've decided to attend there and would love to talk to others in the cohort! I'm pretty sure it's going to be very tiny ?

The main things I am considering are: Cost of attendance / funding opportunities Facility & Faculty, as well as certain clinical and research opportunities Area the school is in / cost of living Distance to my home, family, and traveling cost I feel like decision-making is going to be harder than the application process to be honest! I am going to try to have my decision after my spring break, which is next week.

Here's my hunch: I received an offer of funding. I'm thinking maybe the funding is through U of A. Did you receive a funding offer too?

I just got a letter from NOAC! My admission is through U of A, but I applied through Kent. Either way I'm happy!

@MeganBee You will be okay!! I just got accepted to a school I had no correspondence with, and no interview with. And thank you! I actually already had my interview with Dr. Forbes. She was INCREDIBLY sweet and the entire thing was very lowkey. So if anyone else is reading and has an interview with NOAC coming up, do NOT stress about it.

That is the exact email that I received! I was contacted by someone at Kent State on Monday and ended up doing a phone interview rather than a Skype interview. She asked about my availability for this week for the interview, so it was a pretty quick turnaround.

I just got accepted into UMASS Amherst!!! I am feeling optimistic about my other applications so I may have some decisions ahead of me...

@rahopper hm I am not sure about that. Perhaps you should email someone and ask if there is any additional info about yourself you can provide or ask about the timeline for decisions.

@rahopper fair enough! Based on the interview I had, I believe that phone interviews are occuring this week with decisions happening the following couple of weeks. But I may be wrong!

I responded to the email thanking them for the invite and letting them know that I would not be able to make it. I was then notified that I would be contacted for an interview if they were interested in my application.

@rahopper I was told that for NOAC those applicants that could not attend the information session but that they are interested in are asked to chat on the phone for an interview. @Littleminchie who are you directing your question about the interview to? I'm still trying to figure out this site lol

Sorry for the double post but I figured I'd introduce myself a little more. I applied to NOAC, UMass Amherst, and UConn. I had an interview at UConn on 2/1 and really liked it.

I applied to NOAC through Kent State. I also did not attend the information session. I was emailed on Monday about having a phone interview. Not sure if it's different for U of A. Hope this helps!
