So I got a phone call from POI after the interview. I was told that "all the faculty members were impressed by me" and "things are promising". But he didn't tell me explicitly that I am admitted. He also said that there are pieces not under his control. How shall I interpret this phone call? What does the chance of getting in look like now?

Does not getting a reply from your POI for the Thank-You email you sent to him/her after the interview mean anything? The waiting is killing me...

May I ask if someone has heard back from Cornell University's psychology program? thank you!
