What does alternate mean? I just got an update on my status and it switched to alternate.

One of the school's for my SSHRC application says not offered then the other still says received by administrator....when will I find out about this one? Or is it likely a rejection?

If you've been wait listed, then don't get past the wait list are you notified by a certain date? Or are you forever unsure haha

Funding acceptances are released April 1? Then we have til April 15 for acceptance?

Apparently they send out wait listed last... so it may be better than nothing or we may just be next round of rejections hahah

I too asked for an update but still no update in my portal, only "under evaluation". I wish they'd just send all updates in one day this is brutal!

Sorry to hear about the clinical program! Do you mind sharing when you were notified about the rejection and through what source (i.e., the portal or email)?
In terms of wait lists, they aren't usually very long and idk about counselling but for the clinical wait lists most schools give candidates til April 15th to respond so you def still have a chance!

I am looking for some insight on what I should do the next year to strengthen my application for the clinical program. I was not accepted this year and wait listed at some schools. For those of you who took a gap year, do you mind DMing me some suggestions and what you found worked? Thanks in advance!
