anyone else out there still waiting to hear from York one year msw ...

I still have not yet heard from York either. I spoke to the program advisor and she told me a lot of people are still 'under consideration'. Aka I am not really sure what this even means - but I know they are still waiting to see who is accepting and who is rejecting. She mentioned that their orientation is at the beginning of May so we should expect to hear by then

The wait is killing me hahah I really hope we find out soon. I have heard the second round of offers would come out this week but who really knows...

I also am wondering this as well. Myfile says the same thing for me as well. I am wondering what these means for the rest of us? However - not getting any hopes up because last year I was rejected in like July

Literally the same thing happened to me last year...definitely not great at letting people down gently and keeping people waiting for months

That is odd ..Mine says the whole 'No Decision Yet - Currently Under Consideration'. Who knows if it actually means anything. All I know is that York sends out admissions on a rolling basis once they've sent out their first wave of acceptances

I could not agree more. I applied for the 2 year program last year and they did not tell me I got rejected (aka it continued to say 'under consideration') until July which is real late.

Has anyone actually received a rejection from York yet (from the 1 year advanced standing program)? It sounds like all those who aren't admitted are still "under consideration". I just want to know ..

For those of you who applied to the one year advanced standing MSW at York - have others also not heard back yet? I am confused as I know they have given out acceptances but I haven't heard about any rejection or waitlist offers. As of now my application still says "currently under consideration" ..trying to figure out if this means rejection

Thank you for clarifying this. I also received that information from admissions. They said we should know all decisions within about 1-2 weeks - they have not given out any rejections yet either from my understanding.

You are probably right. I spoke to the admissions assistant last week who said it can take as long as Monday for the decisions (including acceptances) to be processed ..but who knows..

Does anyone else's MyFile for York still say "no decision yet - currently under consideration" ? I am aware that some people's MyFile's updated to acceptances so I am wondering what this means

From my understanding it was just acceptances. However, I am not 100 percent sure at all

I only know about the 1 year sorry

I spoke to the York admissions who said that acceptances were given out today - and can take a couple days to actually update on the MyFile

If that is the case - do you have any idea where we would receive confirmation of our rejection from (i.e. would it be on loris or emailed?)
