You won't get the DAAD-EPOS scholarship. I say so because the balance is tilted against your application. DAAD-EPOS scholars have started their online intensive language course. If you didn't get a response from Leipzig kindly be critical about it.

Are you emailed to join the language class? If yes go into DUO with your DAAD reference number for DUO its in the attached letter. If you didn't get the email relax a little. Although the course has started.

Thanks buddy....I completely understood you. As I said "funding" clearly means your scholarship app is not only accepted but have been approved by the HQ in Bonn. If they later withdraw it and change it to "rejection" and then pick someone in reserve list to replace the position then there MUST be something they later discovered in the app that is not right. "Funding" status is not automated it is deliberately updated by DAAD in Bonn. So if someone tells you "funding" changed to "rejection" then something's fishy happened

In Uzbekistan, still silence. Some people got "selection made" status, some not, some got their "funding begin" and "funding end" dates changed. But no concise information about funding at all.I disagree that your status can turn to rejection after funding. Except there is something fraudulent discovered later in the application or its an outright lie from the poster

I think scholarship goes hand-in-hand with admission. Since scholarships itself are more competitive than admissions I dont see you getting a scholarship without admission...rather the reverse could be a more likely scenario

Your funding date changing is a good sign in my opinion. Usually rejected applications are thrown out of the window in the first instance. But for DAAD to adjust your date means there is an interest in your application. My own too as a nominated EPOS scholar has changed too. I asked a current DAAD scholar and he said the dates usually change before award letters are given (if you are successful) because the date you input in your application is usually not same calendar DAAD may use in their funding

Am a DAAD-EPOS applicant to the University of Freiburg. If you have been given a reference number from DAAD to attend the language course in DUO then you have been awarded the scholarship already and DAAD is currently preparing award letters based on the call i made. The DUO course is paid by DAAD and a part of your scholarship. DAAD will not pay for your DUO course if you have NOT been awarded the scholarship. So let's relax.we will all get the letters next week at most due to the delay caused by the flu epidermic. Just get your visa documents ready and admission letter from your university

Yes I have. Am also done with the registration. DUO course starts from April 8. I think those that got that email will get the scholarship since the course is a part of the scholarship and DAAD pays over €1200 for each person for the 3 months.

The initial mandatory online German course starts by April 8 for DAAD scholarship holders. I hope you guys got the email.

Hello everyone,
I applied for the DAAD-EPOS program for environmental governance at Freiburg. I was invited for the interview after which I was among the 7 persons accepted. DAAD emailed me today to upload docs online through a link before March 18th. It will be processed between 5-20 days for award letter.
Am anxious. Do anyone have an idea of the possibility of scholarship at this stage.
