It is really hard to decide since the tuition of ETH is very low while Stanford graduates seem to have more job opportunities. I don't know if it's easier for a Stanford master student to find a PhD position in Stanford. Could someone provide me with some information? Besides, the ETH program lasts for 6 semesters while the master of Stanford only requires 5 quarters' study without thesis.
