I did have almost 2 years of research experience in labs focused on language. I also was a co-author on a paper for a prof of mine.

I didn't! I got accepted to UBC last week, and I'm still taking 2 prerequisites (AUDI 403 and LING 451 - acquisition phonology) so my acceptance is conditional on me finishing those two up and sending along documentation.

So nerve wracking..... Everyone else has answers except for UBC!

What does your last name start with?? Im having a series of panic attacks over here.. UBC is my dream school.

Just received a note from someone in the program that UBC is still sifting through applications and officially waiting until April in case anyone is worried.

UBC is waiting until start of April too. Guess they want to make sure people really want to go there?

I’m gonna ask a stupid question - your guys’ GPAs are on a 4.0 scale? or 4.33? I’m at UBC and trying to reason with my odds.
