I feel like I've been waitlisted at 2 of the universities that I applied to, and I really don't like the suspense, mainly because I don't have any safeties (my bad, I know), so I was wondering whether reaching out to admission is any good (or whether showing interest in the program pushes me at the top of the waiting list). Hi! I'm applying to a college, and I'm asked to write a research proposal. I have no idea where to start, since I'm not really familiar with the research process and I haven't dealt with any beforehand (I'm applying to CS grad school, if that makes any difference).
