The social work school is open because I spoke to someone two days ago through chat on Monday and they told me a decision would be made in the next 48 hours but I still haven't received a decision wondering if I'm checking the wrong places. It just says pending interview still.

Where should I be looking for my decision?

How were you notified of your acceptance?, I want to make sure I'm looking in the correct places.

Are you referring to your application status where you applied? Mine just says submitted.

Hi I applied for the OYR method as well on the deadline march 1st, everything completed, recommendations and agency form by 3/20. I was notified about an interview a week later and had the interview April 10th. Haven't heard a decision yet. Now I'm impatiently waiting.

Waiting is the worst part right now, they told me after 10 days you can call to check. I just need to know already. Did she say how we would be notified like via email or application status?

NIce!. I applied for the OYR clinical track as well. I also submitted March 1st and everything was completed March 20th. The writing sample was about University-agency relationships and how their goals needs to be aligned and conducive to the success of future social workers. At least that it was I could grab from the article, there was more to it but it was time sensitive and a little rushed. I don't feel like my writing was strong enough or even adequately represented my writing skills and that was the whole point of the assignment. The interview itself went well, it is more conversational. She gave us scenario's and we were basically asked what we would do in that situation. Try to stand out and don't be nervous. Good Luck!!

Thank you, and I do think it went well ( I hope). I am more worried about the writing sample, that was pretty heavy and long and not enough time to respond adequately in my opinion. I don't feel too confident on the part but aside from that it went by pretty fast and I enjoyed it.

I didn't experience this. Originally mine said incomplete, then submitted once my recommendations were completed. This sounds odd, you should give them a call, they will clarify for you.

Is anyone here going in for their interview tomorrow?

Thank you for that, it must be a common thing because I've read before that they give long dense articles with not enough time but I will take that into consideration.

This is very similar to me except I applied on 3/1. I heard back yesterday to come in for an interview but all the dates they had available on eventbrite was sold out. Now I have to wait for more dates to open up. Im sure you will do great, from what I've learn through obsessing over this interview process, is it to be yourself and be honest. Use whatever experience you have to your advantage. I think once you mingle with the other candidates you will feel better. Let us know how it goes! good luck!!
