Thank you for your kind and informative response. What you said was helpful, and if it does turn out that I was rejected this time around, I will follow your advice. I'm not sure if they sent out interviews for my department at Emory. I do know that I have a friend in my program at Candler who interviewed last week for Emory's Hebrew Bible department. He was one of four they interviewed. I think they're interviewing others this weekend, but I don't have any info on what department that is. Again, thank you!

How likely is it that I'd still get into a Ph.D. program if I was not invited to an interview or sent an acceptance email and all the schools I've applied to have already sent out these notices? For example, I applied to BUSTH, Vanderbilt, Emory, and Syracuse, and it looks like based on search results and posts in here that they've all sent out invitations to interviews or acceptance emails. Pretty slim that I got in, right?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me think through which school I should choose for Th.M. program? I was accepted into Candler School of Theology last month with a 25% merit scholarship, and today I was accepted into Boston College STM with a 75% merit scholarship. While I believe Boston has a much higher standard of living than Atlanta, I also wanted to being able to process through the pros and cons of attending either school. The ultimate goal is to be accepted into a Ph.D. program and become a professor. I am interested in studying practical theology. Would anyone be able to help me with this decision? I have reached out to Candler today asking for an increase of aid. I was waiting on a few more pieces of information which is why I am so delayed in reaching out to them. Thanks!!!

Hello, I have yet to receive a decision from U of Notre Dame. Is that unusual? I know that there were those who posted interviews. I did not do an interview. However, I have not received notice of a rejection. Should those be sent out by now or should I contact someone? Thanks!
