I just heard back from Western today and I have accepted their offer off the waitlist! DO NOT LOSE HOPE PEOPLE! I was in the second quadrant

What is the program size for Western SLP vs Audiology again?

I have started a separate forum so that those on waitlists can get a sense of how many spots are possibly going to be available once people firmly accept their acceptances. If those of you who were offered a position have made a decision on where you're going, could you please comment on this forum and mention:
Which schools you were accepted/waitlisted at.
Which school you will most likely accept.

Hey all, I probably already know the answer to this...but should I just give up and accept the fact that I won't get a call this year? this is my third time being waitlisted and its very discouraging...

I contacted Janet via email a few weeks back and she told me that the class is currently full, but the wait list will remain open until September in the event that someone cancels their acceptance. I’m still trying to be hopeful but I don’t think anyone is budging haha.

I know that the class list for western is full but just wanted to know that for those who have accepted their offers, is anyone waiting to hear back from another school and would drop their western acceptance to go for their top choice?

Janet emailed those who accepted their offers today saying that we will be getting more info about the program/what we need to do beginning-mid June, after the movement on the waitlist has stopped!
Basically, there is still hope!! Those on the waitlist are still being contacted, so don't give up all hope! I BELIEVE IN YOU!

I reached out about a week ago and Janet said they are still making phone calls. But I am in the same boat with you and am assuming I also will not be getting in. If you email Janet and ask her about your application, she usually gives good feedback in where your application needed improvement (I did this last year when I applied). Just as an aside, if you do end up contacting her asking about the waitlist can you let me know what she says? and if you have any other questions you can message me and I'll try and answer them since this is my second time around and I ended up speaking to some of the schools and they gave me some feedback.

To those people who were accepted off the waitlist to Western, Did Janet only call you guys or did she also leave an email? and also did she mention at all how many/ what spot you were on the waitlist? and if someone feels comfortable PMing their stats that would be much appreciated! sorry for the long message and questions, this waiting game is very draining and stressful and I just want a general idea of what my chances may be. My call came around 11am. I missed the call so Janet left a voicemail. Since she left the voicemail she also emailed me just to let me know (in case I was unable to check my messages).

I got my call from Western on Thursday and I am soooo excited! This was my second year applying. I was waitlisted at Western last year as well but ultimately did not receive an offer so to get one this year is such a dream come true!
I was wondering if anyone else was still unable to see their offer on ORPAS? I know Janet said it would take a couple days but I just want to make sure.

Quick question (not sure if anyone has an answer) put typically how many people are placed on the waitlist for Western? and also what has been the latest someone has been told they were admitted?

For those accepted into Western, I am a little confused as to how we are suppose to pay our enrolment fee via online banking? (I was taken off waitlist recently so trying to figure out how to pay) please DM me!
