Hi everyone! This forum is great! Looks like everyone is really supportive and provides good advice. I'm still trying to decide on which program to attend in the Fall and would appreciate any advice! I applied to 11 schools, some PhD and some MA and was accepted to 4 MA programs. I wasn't really told anything about possible funding opportunities/scholarships/fellowships and when I've contacted these schools they haven't really been able to say whether or not there will be any type of funding available. I just finished another Master's that was fully funded for two years, but I'm not sure if it's common for people to pay for an MA in Cinema Studies? Here's the schools I'm deciding on (all MA programs): SUNY Buffalo (MAH Humanities, Film Studies) San Francisco State University NYU Columbia Any thoughts on/experiences with these programs? Also, how do all of you plan to pay for your schooling? Did you receive funding? Are you taking out loans? Etc.?
