I've been working at this biotech company for about 3 years now and I'm interested in moving to their biostatistics department.
I got my Masters in Molecular Biology right after my undergraduate in Molecular Biology. They were at different schools where in my masters I got a 3.7 and my undergraduate I got a 2.85.
The big disparity between the two gpas were that at the end of my second year in undergrad I switched from bioengineering to molecular biology due to me having difficulties with the program and my lack of enjoying it (just wasn't for me I struggled with some classes, not the math, but i did my research in biostat before)
I was in a grad school (Cal State where a 2.5 was the min and next to my parents house so I went there to save money and got my current job as soon as I finished)
It's been quite a while since I've done the application process for school so I'm wondering if i wouldn't qualify for grad schools with a 3.0 minimum (reason I'm asking is because there's a university with a biostatistics ms program near my current place but they have a 3.0 minimum). I took the necessary math courses from when I was an engineering major.
I'm just looking for some advice on how I should move forward.
