  1. Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of any programs that someone with a BA might be able to go into which would allow for adequate federal aid (maybe through Grad Plus or other means) to attend upper level undergrad or grad level literature courses without any outside support or savings? I'm having a really hard time starting on the path to a lit PhD or even Masters just because my only local options are expensive / carry no aid options and I'm not really in a position to save much. If it's relevant my undergrad GPA is low (~2.9) but all of the English classes I took were As. Thanks!
  2. Hi, I just recently got an email from Guildhall Music & Drama: "...our Acting degree programme is based entirely on audition. We are interested in you as a person, not in your previous education, opportunities or experience you might or might not have had relating to acting and drama in general. We are looking for what motivates you to want to undertake this particular kind of training and for your passion and curiosity for the craft and the world around you in general which cannot be measured by the particular experience an applicant has already had, or not. There are no particular previous qualifications levels or subject area requirements in order to apply. Everyone who submits an application receives a first round audition (of three). Everyone starts our audition process equal. " Are there any US schools that share this attitude? Preferably that are also well regarded and/or offer funding? Thanks!
  3. Possibly a certificate program and lab experience? Wondering what the best/lowest cost route might be. Thanks! Dylan
