I recently received conditional acceptance to Johns Hopkins MS in Applied Economics program. As a prerequisite for entering the program, I am required to take the following course: Math Methods for Economists. Since I have only taken Calculus I in college (and that was 15 years ago), I am looking for recommendations for a good study guide that I can use, in addition to the textbook. Also, any other advice on brushing up math skills would be welcome. I have been working in the field of federal budgeting for some time now, but the math used on the job is not nearly as advanced.
