Well, the other shoe dropped from Juilliard for me today: ah sigh...
-
I'm in the same boat, and love the feeling of having "a win" at this moment. It's my first one in this year's process, so I'm going to enjoy it! Be well, everyone!

Just checked my Brooklyn portal: a polite rejection. Too bad! But congrats to the folks who are getting in!
-
Me three from Hunter -- but such a nice note!
-
Congratulations: so exciting!

Two places I haven't heard mentioned of late: Brooklyn and Juilliard. Maybe I missed it, or as anybody heard from them, or have a sense of their timing?
-
So much good news for folks on here this week: congratulations for all the acceptances and praise you've been getting!

I just want to echo this comment -- about how generous everyone's comments feel -- especially all of this discussion about handling rejection. I was definitely feeling low about it all today, and then when I landed back here, and read everyone's different experiences & perspectives -- it just gave me a broader feeling of having a shared experience, and not feeling so alone in the negativity. So thanks for that!

Congrats on these interviews! Can you say a little about the Hunter one? Was it long/short? What did they ask you about?
-
Wow: congrats to you! That's exciting!
-
Gosh, that doesn't seem like the kindest way to let people know they're not getting in: just a status change... Or am I being too sensitive?
-
OK, this makes me feel better! Even if misplace, it's nice to have some hope to hang onto...!

Yes, I didn't apply to CMU or UT, but nonetheless I'm excited for those of you who are getting responses and having the chance to imagine new options for yourselves! Keep going!

I've refreshed this page 100 times since Monday ... I'm just so anxious for some kind of news / update....!

Hi All, Just looping back about Brooklyn. I just checked in with the main admissions office about missing paperwork, etc., and they were super nice about it -- so that made me feel better!
-
Thanks for the tips about Brooklyn: that's good to know. I also applied to Juilliard -- I wonder what the timeline is on hearing from them??

Hey, I just saw a listing for an MFA program at Queens College in NYC. Has anyone heard of it? I know that Brooklyn & Hunter both have pretty good reputations, but I don't think I'd seen Queens before, so just curious what other folks know... Thanks much!

First time poster also. Just submitted for Juilliard, after spending hours and hours revising and revising my statement. Definitely found it anxious making!
