Hi everyone I am applying for physics PhD. I'm mainly interested in astrophysics and you know that getting accepted for astrophysics is somehow difficult compared to other areas in physics. So, for my statement of purpose, I am not sure if I should talk only about astrophysics of physics in general. or if I shall mention my interests in astrophysics and at the end say that I'm open to other areas. Thanks for helping.
