  1. Hey all, I'm looking at applying for Stats graduate programs for Fall 2021 or even later. I study Econ and Math at a top Canadian school. I am currently taking Real Analysis because all my professors recommend me to take it if I want to pursue grad school, but I don't think I will end with a good mark in it due to the level of difficulty. I have done well in all the fundamental math courses such as Linear Algebra, Multivariate Calculus etc., but not in the fundamental Econometrics or Statistics courses, which worries me with my application. Also, I have a good amount of C's on my transcript due to electives I took without proper course planning in first year, but these are courses unrelated to statistics (such as Psychology, Political Science, etc.), so if you ignore these, I believe my average is around an A-, but it drops significantly if you take these into account as well. I want to pursue grad school in Stats because of the up-trending field in data science, and simply because I like statistics. Are there any Masters programs that would be worth applying to given my background? I am also interested in applied math, mathematical economics, and computer science courseworks. Undergraduate: Top Canadian School Major: Economics-Mathematics(combined program) GPA: 3.4/4.0 (in US scale), 3.63/4.0 (Major GPA in US scale), 3.6/4.3 (in Canadian Scale, which equates to a high B+ average), 3.7/4.3 (Major GPA in Canadian Scale, which equates to an A- average) Coursework: Calc I-III (B+, A, A-), Econometrics (B, B-, A-), Linear Algebra (A, A+), Differential Equation (A), Mathematical Proof (not Real Analysis) (A), Probability Theory (A) Some Computer Science courses (Data Structures, Software Design, and planning to take Machine Learning/Data Mining) where my average for these courses is around an A, and of course Economics courses, where the average is around an A- GRE: Planning to take in the future Work Experience: Worked as a Research Assistant for an NPO last year for 6 months.
