Has anyone heard from Yale HSHM?

It looks like the interview on the results page was actually conducted in January, just added yesterday. I didn't apply to Yale History this year, but I know a few people in the program and they say generally you have to have an interview to be admitted.

Hey! I didn't have an interview but just got word I got into Stanford— it looks like one person in most fields got in except for in US two people got in.

Looks like Princeton acceptances have started coming out— guessing if I haven't heard by now it's a no?

I think on the Chicago app you could select multiple fields if I remember correctly but generally speaking global

Has anyone heard anything from Harvard? I think acceptances came out around this time last year, if I remember correctly.

Hey! I got an MIT interview— it seemed like a generic mass email asking us to sign up for an interview slot via a doodle poll and inviting us to a "virtual visit" on zoom

I applied through a different subfield. Happy to chat more via DM.

I applied to Brown and Georgetown. Haven't heard anything from Brown, but had an interview at Georgetown. They said we should hear mid-Feb from Georgetown with final decisions.

I also applied to HSHM and would love to learn more. Regarding admissions, I spoke to a grad student who let me know they aren't doing interviews this year, and decisions most likely would be out by mid-Feb.

I didn't apply through History at Yale this year, so I don't have any personal insight, but it looked like someone was invited to interview January 11 based on the results page.

Thanks! I applied to a PhD in the humanities, and I sent in my program application December 1st and my KH app the day it was due.

A professor I had emailed with but hadn't spoken to via zoom/phone just reached out to schedule a call, seems pretty informal though

Interesting, I didn't realize Chicago did interviews. I've spoken a few times informally with my POI there and they basically said next I'd hear from them is end of the month with decisions.

Yeah, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but an acquaintance of mine got admitted to US history for Yale last Friday. I reached out to my POI and it looks like the full list of acceptances was already finalized/people notified.

Have any Yale applicants who haven't heard back been in contact with their POI?

I have heard that Yale was cutting its class by 1/6 for the next six years; if they admit 22 usually that's still a class of 18 or so (though that's assuming 100% yield so idk)

So is it safe to assume all Yale acceptances have been sent out? Welp.
