I believe that they are looking for basic listening skills/ability to form a therapeutic relationship (common factors) vs. specific interventions (thought record, exposure hierarchy, activity schedule, etc.)
Hello,
I am a current PhD student (master's completed) who is looking into working in private practice in Ontario on the side while completing my training/dissertation. I am wondering what the hourly rates are like for doctoral therapists around the GTA. I am considering registering as a psychotherapist (CRPO) until I can register with the CPO. Would I be paid more per hour than working as an unregistered student? How is everyone else practicing? (I'm current completing training out-of-province, otherwise I would ask my colleagues/profs)
Thanks!
