I wonder if we can know it was reviewed based off of when our portals changed to say which specialty we applied for.

That is slightly shady feeling on their part. Now I wonder what criteria it is..

NYU sent an email from admissions but just about visitation basically. Schools gotta stop w these games haha

ASU accepted me two months ago but never sent a financial aid offer and their website says they send that after accepting your admissions? Should I emailed them and say um.... I'm going to need to know a financial aid package to keep you in consideration.

I think that they said if by priority you find out on/by Feb 15. At least that’s what’s the website did say when I applied in Nov.

Good luck! I applied to the 2 year, full-time. I am switching from Psych and didn't have as much experience as I felt they wanted so... lol fingers crossed!

I just want to know like.... where I'm going to be. I don't do well with long term uncertainty and I was to find an apartment and figure out if I can take my ESA with me or if I should give him to my partner for a year until my partner can move to wherever I am... ugh. Idk so much rides on these decisions it's just unnerving.

Oy vey. I'm in Kansas so obviously housing is cheaper but I pay around 550$ a month for my 1bd/1bath and shared living room, kitchen and laundry. And I have barely been able to afford that. Housing prices make it look impossible to exist in literally any city.

Also a weird question... how much do you guys pay for rent now? I've been looking at apartments everywhere I have applied and I am dying inside

For those who have submitted or are about to submit to NYU... What are you submitting for Q4 on the writing prompt? I've written a lot about my work with my nonprofit and don't know what situation they would be looking for me to explain? I handled a hefty sexual harassment case last year against some LGBTQ counterparts last year but don't know if that's too much or if I should just write about some parents at my job who can be the worst but you have to handle it with respect and dignity.

I got this exact same email and was like WOOF. Come on y'all. Have you applied to any outside fellowships or scholarships with them? I'm not sure if I should or what the regular aid received is.

I think I'm nervous because I'm still stuck in the mindset of the competitiveness that comes with Psych PhD applications, honestly! Also maybe it's just the waiting that adds to that anxiety! There's no real affirmation until acceptances start rolling out, you know?

I'm finishing my Udub app right now. Makes me nervous as I'm trying to transfer in the SW field from Psychology and only really decided in the past year. I don't have the minimum recommended 2000 hours of service, but have around 1800 instead over the past two years I've been in college. Not sure my chances are great. I have a 3.64 gpa, double major in Psych/Human Sexuality, and have worked as an RA on two different research projects, one is an RO1 NIH funded program. I work for a nonprof but idk man. I always feel like people are way more competitive than me and I have no clue how they do it. Yes I'm graduating w two degrees in three years but bros... this shit is hard

Decided to put an app in for UPenn as well. I almost went to Drexel and had enrolled and everything and then backed out last minute.
