Just got an official rejection email!

I suppose that it's possible they'll send more but considering one of their interview session is this weekend it seems unlikely. I really don't know anything though - if you want to really find out, email them.

NYU has already sent out both batches of invites. I got one in the first batch and I know someone who got one in the second batch.

I doubt the department coordinator has a role on the admissions committee and even if they did, I doubt that asking for an application status update would reflect poorly on you. I emailed the coordinator at MIT a few weeks ago asking about the timeline for when interviews would be sent out. She responded with: Thank you for your continued interest in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences. Nearly all interview invitations have been sent out at this time. If at this point you haven't received an invitation to interview, it's likely you are no longer being considered for admission. Applicants will be notified in April once final decisions have been made. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Anyways, from what other people have posted it seems that other coordinators are equally courteous. From what others have posted, Brown and Harvard have already sent invites. I can attest that Penn has sent theirs and I think Stanford may have, though no one has actually said that they have received an official email invite yet. There do not seem to be any data points on UMD -- you should just ask them and I suspect they will be forthcoming.

I was starting to worry about that too but no, I have not heard anything from Hopkins since I emailed them with that spreadsheet to tell them my preferred date.

No word yet for Stanford. Prior results indicate they seem to announce near the middle-to-end of this week.

Thanks everyone, I just emailed MIT and they said they've sent all invites. Oh well. I've had a good crop and I'm looking forward to seeing you all at the interviews!

Has anyone gotten any communication about the dates of interviews at WashU in St. Louis? I got the invite (hooray!) But I don't see any details about dates or times.

I also received an email for interview at Columbia. Email had my name in it, but seemed like a mass email. A surprise on a Sunday, but a welcome one!

I doubt it, they sent out interviews earlier this week. To the guy who got a PI email from MIT several days ago, have you gotten the official committee email yet?

I also got an NYU interview invite from Arts and Sciences and it had my name in it.

UWashington or WashU? I have an interview offer from UWashington (yay!), and it seemed like a big email. But haven't heard a peep from WashU. Also still waiting on the NY schools. Doesn't seem like anyone on the results page has heard from them either. I just realized that since Christmas is on a Wednesday this year and the last few years has been Tuesday/Monday, the "last business day before Christmas Eve" was a Friday last year and the year before but this year it's Monday.

Anyone heard anything from WUSTL? Past results indicate they have usually sent out interviews for neuroscience by this time but not seeing any deluge of postings on the results page yet. Lots of postings for other programs in the DBBS. Also curious to see if anyone has gotten an interview at U Chicago Neurobiology, or invites were only sent out to Computation Neuro. Edit: Just got a call from a PI at Chicago neurobio!
