I'm not certain but I imagine UCSC is pretty behind schedule because of the ongoing grad student TA strike. I wonder how it will affect admission decisions this year.

I applied to UC Santa Cruz. They're the only program I applied to (for a lot of reasons). I haven't heard back yet. Will share when I do!
