  1. Is anyone attending BC looking for a roommate?
  2. I have only heard really awesome things about their program. I know someone that went there and now owns their own private practice and loved it. Also, I know someone attending CU who recommended Hunter. It’s really well regarded- especially in the NY area.
  3. That's okay! Do you know where an I find this form?
  4. Wait what supplemental form? Is it for BC?
  5. If you decide on BC for sure send me a message! I’m going to be looking for a roommate (but not sure if I’ll have found someone by then). I’ll keep you posted!
  6. Is anyone attending BC going to be looking for a roommate???
  7. Yes I am!!! I'm so excited. We'll definitely be in classes together then I really love how structured they are as well. It's so nice.
  8. Aww yay!! I hope we get to meet and have some classes together!
  9. Omg don’t apologize! I love the program SO much!!! I’m literally so excited lol. I didn’t do the tour but I walked around campus after. I’m likely committing soon so we’ll be classmates
  10. Anyone attending admitted students day at BC tomorrow?
  11. Thank you so much, I'm certain that you will as well ❤️ !
  12. Omg NO!!! I wasn’t offended in the least. I’m sorry if my tone came off like that- sometimes I know it’s hard to gage online. I was just trying to tell you that I agree with your thoughts and had it been more applicable to me I’d likely be doing what you said!!! Sorry again for any confusion.. I genuinely value everyone’s opinion on here. Best of luck to you too
  13. OMG Fulbright? That is awesome!! Thank you so much for the encouragement and kind words. Everyone on this forum is truly great, and I value what everyone has to say. Cheering you on as well!!! ❤️
  14. I totally respect your opinion. And I completely agree. However, I’m very certain that this is what I want and I’m ready to achieve my goals now, even if that means working a bit harder or proving myself more than those with more professional experience have to. As an undergrad, I was fortunate enough to be involved with a clinical lab so I have a lot of strong research experience with regards to my specific area of focus. I’ve also been employed for a non profit program. Had I not been involved with these things, I would think deferring would be way more applicable for my needs.
  15. I totally agree. I am not accepting any offer without negotiating financial aid. That is something very important to me, which is essentially what is making my decision difficult. However, I am certain that I would like to go straight from undergrad into the program. Although I may not have the professional experience, I have a great deal of experience with regards to clinical research. So I’m confident that this is what I want to do! Thank you so so much for you Input
  16. Anyone else here SO indecisive???? I really did not expect to have the options that I do and I am so torn. It's been all I can think about... I'm on the younger side of applicants (or so I assume), I'm graduating in 3 years with my BA this May and coming straight from undergrad... I want to make the best possible decision but deciding on something this big at my age seems so crazy to me lol... if anyone else is also stressing feel free to message me to talk
  17. Thank you so much. Since the two schools are essentially equal for me, I feel that I can't go wrong with either. However, the atmosphere and diversity of the location is very important to me. I have not heard from anyone yet that has been able to directly compare Boston and NYC, so I really value your opinion. If you have any other strong opinions on either location I would love to hear more. Thank you so much for your insight--- and congratulations to you as well!
  18. I'm doing the two year program! I have visited Boston before and I really love the area. The certificate options are also very appealing to me. However, I've heard from many that degrees from Boston are very well respected but more so if you would like to remain in the Massachusetts area. Would you mind sharing the job locations of which the people you know received offers? That might be helpful for me. My main issue is that I am from NY and I also love Boston... so with no preference in location it makes it even harder to decide. I really appreciate your input SO much, so thank you!!
  19. I’m doing clinical! I’m planning on focusing on child welfare. I’m also really interested in trauma/ early adversity! I’ve been doing pros/ cons lists and I’m still really conflicted. If you could give your thoughts on BC that’d be awesome!
  20. Does anyone have any thoughts on Boston College vs Columbia University? I have been accepted to both with scholarship. I’m very conflicted because I didn’t expect to get into both programs and I can see myself happily attending either. Any insight would be very appreciated
  21. I know people have shared the process for scholarship reconsideration for Columbia, does anyone know if there’s a similar procedure for BC?
