Anyone hear back on waitlist offers yet?

OMG thats kinda crazy! I was 22!

Ouch. That's terrible! I was shortlisted for Committee 194. I believe people reject their offers if they get a more prestigious scholarship or a professorship - so really hoping for the best for people in my category so that I can get the NSERC. ?

They send out the results via snail mail. I am in Vancouver, and didn't receive it until last Friday. I still haven't received my ranking.

I did, I didn't get it either I had actually just left industry (after 1 year) to do a postdoc, but thankfully, my prof can fund me for atleast 1 year. I hope your PI is able to do the same!

I'm so sorry to hear that, that must be difficult. Hope you are still able to secure a postdoc successfully! I still haven't received mine yet, west coast problems.

I emailed NSERC and got an automated response that the notification of decisions got mailed out just today. Fingers crossed!

It's the last week of Jan, has anyone heard back from NSERC yet? ?

I applied for NSERC PDF as well, but haven't heard back by email or mail. Do you have any idea if they are usually late? This week's been tough waiting for the decision but I do hope we're not looking at waiting past this month. ?
