Same here for NYU. Also, for those waiting to hear back from Rutgers, I have a friend there who is familiar with the AMST dept and he said they are still working out how many seats/financial aid packages they have to offer.

Anyone making any final decisions yet? I can't believe it's almost March and I have not heard anything from 6 more programs. Seems late this year!

I didn't get into Yale either. Anyone apply to Rutgers or BU? I haven't seen any posts about their AMST programs on here.

Rejected from Brown too. Congrats to all those accepted -- I did my MA program there a few years ago and loved the dept!

I didn't post yet but I was waitlisted this morning. The letter was pretty vague: short waitlist, students have made it off the list in previous years, and status may not be updated until late spring.

Starting to get really bummed. Thought I would be all set by applying to 12 schools but I've been rejected by 3 of the "less" competitive American Studies programs. Really felt like I was a good fit for those programs too. Not sure if I should hold out hope or better prepare myself from a likely rejection from Ivies and other top tier schools.
