Hello! Yes, I’ve already heard back from U of A about funding. About a week or two ago, more or less. Are you attending the virtual open house, too?

Ok thank you for letting me know! If I haven't heard back about funding, it’s probably because I wasn’t offered any funding. I did attend the virtual open house - it was very exciting.

  2. Have anyone heard back from the University of Arizona or UT Austin about funding? Hopefully we will all hear back about funding before the April offer of admission deadline - I t’s a HUGE factor in our decisions, for sure. I hope everyone is doing ok!

  3. Northwestern just canceled the Preview Day event because of COVID-19. I'm a little frustrated because they announced it less than 7 days prior to the event and it prevents us from getting refunds for hotels and flights :(

Hi everyone! I am not applying this year, but am looking at applying to AuD programs next year. I am a bit worried though because I have relatively low stats: a 3.42 overall GPA, 150 V, 149 Q, and a 6 on the writing portion of the GRE. Because of this, I am looking to apply to some less competitive AuD programs. Does anyone have any program suggestions that have been traditionally less competitive? Thank you all and good luck on apps and interviews this year! :)

Hey! So I have pretty much the same stats as you do, and I still got into 2 schools, waitlisted at one, and got invited by one school to an interview. I became more involved in research in my CSD department, and I volunteered ALL the time. Letters of recommendations are a HUGE HUGE plus (I cannot emphasize how important they are - most of my interviews asked questions based on what my LORs said because it’s about your character). Show that you are a hard worker, are involved in orgs and volunteerism, and maybe get a part time job in pediatrics as a hearing screener. GRE and GPA aren’t everything! You got this- good luck!

Just found out I have been accepted into Northwestern- woohoo! I really want to attend the preview day but unfortunately, I won't be able to. I'll probably just contact and see if I can visit on an alternate date.

Applying to: Rush University, Ohio State University, Northwestern, University of Colorado Boulder, San Diego State University, and Arizona State University.

    Applied /Interview / Accepted / Waitlisted / Rejected

I want to go to Preview day too! I could, but flights to Chicago are so expensive! Ughhh. Please update us on whether or not they will have another date in the future :) Congrats!!

Accepted Waitlisted Interview / No News Yet / Rejected

  6. The hardest part of this forum is seeing applicants getting accepted, receiving invitations to an interview, or being waitlisted while not receiving any updates at all...couldn't help but think that I'm being rejected from every school I've applied too :( I'm happy for y'all but dang, this is so hard. I don't know what I'd do if I'm not accepted at all - you can't really do anything with a CSD degree straight out of undergrad.

  7. Hey everyone! I am applying to the Audiology program at UT Dallas, UT Austin, Northwestern, University of Arizona, LSU, and SUNY Buffalo. For those that are applying to UT Austin, they will most likely send an email this week about invitations to an interview. Has anyone heard back from Northwestern or SUNY Buffalo?

I applied to UT-Dallas and UT-Austin as well! Have you heard anything from either of them yet?!

Hi! I applied to the University of Texas at Dallas and I never received a email from them regarding interview invitations. Would you say that if I haven't gotten an email about conducting an interview by now, that possibly meant that I were rejected from an interview?
