This happened to me last year. I was on reserve list. Unfortunately, depending on your country of origin, there is not many available scholarship grants. You have better chances if you're from a developing country -- many private companies are sponsoring grants. Make sure to check your program's website too, or the university website to see what are avaialble to you.
I wasn't given any information on how many points I was given.
When do you know if you will get the scholarship? May you be luckier than I was. I remained on the reserve list.
Do you know your ranking on the reserve list? When are you supposed to find out if you made it to the main list?
I am patiently waiting and hoping to hear that I made it to the main list too from the reserve list. My program said they will let us know end of the month.
Hi @nisanisa your story of being on the reserved list for years and finally landing on the main list this year is inspiring. What did you do different this year that you think finally gave you the advantage?
I am 13th on the reserve list. I hope I get as lucky as the one you mentioned who was 30th and still got called ?
I was told I was 13th in the rank of reserved candidates. That crushed my hopes. I don't think I will apply again next year because it took me a lot of time and money to submit all the requirements and I can't afford to do all that again.
I just got notification that I am on the reserve list too. No other info given on how high up or how far down am I on the list, so I am not counting on getting the scholarship anymore — moving on to another plan. ? Best of luck to you all, friends!
Thanks for your positive messages and for sharing whatever info you can. I believe that what’s for me is for me, so if I don’t get in this year, I will try again next year. I wish I applied to multiple programs though, but I ran out of time to compose personalized letters of motivation and other requirements. Ah well, I will see in April if I am one of the lucky few!
