Sending letter of continued interest after interview? (PhD)

I interviewed at my top choice about a month ago and I haven't heard back from them. I know that they have already sent out offers, and I was considering sending an email reaffirming my interest and saying I plan to attend if given an offer. Would this be appropriate, or too much since I already interviewed?
