I am wondering if anyone has any experience applying for/getting scholarships for doctoral research at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. I am in contact with a professor in the humanities from there and it seems he would support my application. Do you know what is their decision process like for their doctoral scholarships? What are their criteria? How important is it that there would be a prospective supervisor established already?
