Do you think our departments have the results then? So are schools notified first, and then we are notified on researchnet? I’m worried that only winners have been contacted.

Were they notified through researchnet or their department?

how many times are we allowed to apply? I am currently in my third year (it's my first time applying, I transferred from masters) and my supervisor is notorious for keeping students for at least 6-7 years.... I worry that if I get it next year I will be forced to stay 3 more years and that would be a 7 year PhD.... I was hoping this would be my ticket out the door at the 6 year mark.
