@msw/kg No, I haven't unfortunately! They said I may not hear back till Mid May or so. Did you hear back? I've joined the FB group and I've seen someone else got wait listed today, so I'm pretty sure you'll hear back soon.

@msw/kg Same, CSUN is my top choice as well. It's the closest school from my place that has a MSW program without having to move to a different city. I just wonder how much of the interview is a determining factor in acceptance or if it's on the application as a whole. Definitely keep me updated when you hear back! I'm pretty sure it will be soon, stay hopeful!!

@msw/kg I applied to the 2 year program, but I called admissions the day after I got wait listed to be also added to the 3 year wait list. I tried to also be added to the online cohort wait list, but they said their already full. At that point I was willing to attend whichever program lol. Thank you for your encouraging words! I'm just trying to stay hopeful. I have a feeling their still going through applicants who interviewed. I'm pretty sure you'll hear back this week or next week. Did you apply to other schools? I didn't which I kind of regret.

Hello! I applied to CSU Northridge for their MSW program. I recently got put on their waitlist. Do you guys know of positive waitlist stories of people getting accepted? It's the only school I applied to, so I'm a little nervous. It's not a top ranked program, but they only accept 150 total within 500 applicants received each year.

@Leonor0517 Yes, stay hopeful! They told me in the interview that the will notify about admissions the latest by May 15th. I'm probably going to do the same if it doesn't work out. It's the closest program to me locally, without me having to move and spend money on rent.

@msw/kg Ya no worries. I received an email about the waitlist this past Monday on April 13th. I would stay hopeful! They could still be going through the interview applicants. Which program did you apply to? The 2 year or 3 year cohort?

@Leonor0517 Awh I'm so sorry Don't lose hope though! It's so hard because they accept such a small percentage of applicants every year. I remember during the information session, they stated that they get 500 plus applicants, and they only accept 150 people. I think for the 2 year cohort, they only accept 60 people. I didn't realize how competitive this program is until now, which can be sometimes hard to hear.

@msw/kg Hi Yes same here! I've seen people from past forums accepted from the wait list. Just trying to stay hopeful and not give up yet cause theres still a chance. My interview was the same day as yours, on March 11th @ 1:30 pm. Did you hear back from the program? Thanks for replying to my post!
