That was me. both yesterday and today. I can cc the email for proof, but with the amount of doctored images here, I don't want that to be a concern for people
NDSEG results. We only have 750 views right now. Even if we spam, it would be hard to get to 250 in the next hour or so before they come up. This is assuming SysPlus isn't lying through their teeth. I assume they would want to release the results by 4 pm ET at the latest to fix any mistakes that come up.
There is a scrolldown menu with just the 2020 NDSEG application, but it seems like they are getting ready to release a fellowship forms page on the same dropdown menu
Bit the bullet. emailed rob and asked if it was an ARO hangup. His response:
Per my last conversation with the DoD this morning (not just ARO, but AFOSR and ONR as well), they are still aiming for decision release today.
Oh damn They havn't even made offers of admission or financial support yet!?
EDIT: major misread. still weird because other schools seem to be still following april 15
Emailed the PMO and got a message from the NDSEG saying "I don't have any further information available. The DoD hasn't released the decisions, and I cannot promise the time they will release. We will get them out as soon as possible after they release the decisions."
My guess is the ARO, specifically anything decision science/math related is probably the hang-up as they are working crazy hours for COVID response.
Major oof from my university. The graduate school kills the top-off for anyone making over 35,000 a year. Which is some bull as funded students bring in a ton of money and prestige for them.
Well, some schools will adjust acceptances after funding comes out. One of my friends won GRFP and was accepted into a couple schools the next day. Getting NDSEG might give you some time to talk to professors who might not have had funding for you.
Lurker here. Still stuck on 12/6 not looking good. Anyone call today to see if they will release? I feel bad for the grad school applicants who will have 1 day to negotiate with their acceptances.
