I received my results this morning and was lucky enough to be wait listed for the award. Does anyone have any insight into the likelihood of a waitlister being offered an award? I feel like nobody is likely to decline

Hi folks. I’ve been lurking for a while but created an account to post. Does anyone else feel like their scores were really low? I have 2 first author publications, a 4.0 gpa, and I felt my proposal was fairly strong. However, I only scored 28 and 30 respectively.
