Mine looks just like this as well!

Sorry, you are right, there is no applicants tab this year.. this has been a confusing ride because last year's website looks different and they gave me the link for both because my account should have access to both. It is totally on the main page for this year though!

  2. For those who have their access denied. I called 613-995-4273 and then had to send them a screenshot to show my access is denied. They finally got back to me just now after updating my permissions.

Unfortunately it is a rejection for me, but at least I have closure. I recommend contacting them if you don't see an "Applicants" tab beside "Change password" on the website.

Anyone else still seeing this screen? No Applicant Library tab.

I am! It's driving me crazy! I called the online help center and they are looking into it... I had to send them a screenshot and now I am waiting for a reply. No idea what is going on :(

  4. Is anyone else seeing this page? I feel confused. When I click to access personal folder, it says access denied.

I applied last year and when I open the link from last year's email, it shows my results from last year, but there is no folder for this year in there. Is there supposed to be a second folder? Or am I supposed to wait until this page updates from this year's link they sent?

    Thanks!

Waiting to hear back from UOttawa. I really wish they would hurry up so I can plan my life lolll. Anyone have any info on this?

Last year I got word from uOttawa (waitlist) on April 24th. In 2019 it was April 20th (waitlist also). So, I don't expect to hear anything until next week at the earliest.

Anyone else here from Psych? ? Most people in my program apply through SSHRC, but my research is focused on neural mechanisms, so my supervisor suggested I go through NSERC. I'm pretty nervous that my application won't look 'natural sciences' enough due to my background. I've had success with master's funding in the past, but this seems much harder to get.

Cognitive psych here! I have the same worry! My lab is NSERC oriented too rather than SSHRC. I have not had much luck the past two years so I do not have high hopes this round. No luck in the OGS department either (always destined for the waitlist). I think my profile is decent? But who knows! Before this, I did a master's in experimental, had 1 year work experience at a not-for-profit, 1 first-author journal pub, and 4 conference presentations. I also had success with master's funding and an award for my thesis. I keep wondering if it is my proposal (I completely re-wrote it this year), or if the world is just competitive (or both).

Hi folks. I’ve been lurking for a while but created an account to post. Does anyone else feel like their scores were really low? I have 2 first author publications, a 4.0 gpa, and I felt my proposal was fairly strong. However, I only scored 28 and 30 respectively.

I don't know to be honest, I've requested to see any written comments about my application because I'm curious. However, I do find it weird that your score is lower than you expected. Getting two first author publications should give you a huge boost. Have you made a request for any written comments?

I'm in the same boat. I feel my score is quite low especially since I got the same scores last year but published a first-author paper and got a university medal since then. I am stuck in the mid 30's so I assume it's my proposal. Who did you ask to receive written comments?
