  1. Yes maybe they would know. I think since results were released yesterday that would know by now. So sorry this is happening and I am hoping you have good luck with the results!!
  2. Yes, there should be tab under my applications that says "check application status". That is weird yours does not show that. Mine also said in peer review before the award results were posted. Yours says completed by applicant. Are you a direct applicant?
  3. Yes, that's how you were ranked from the top. So the lower the ranking the higher. They funded 104/418 for committee A and 73/290 for B. If you ranked within these numbers you were funded.
  4. First time applying, got it! But was funded through the priority announcement: infection and immunity - committee A. Barely made the cut off though. Thanks for all the support on this thread! And those of you who did not get funded should keep trying as I have been rejected from multiple other awards but just kept trying year after year!
  5. I can't get on. It keeps crashing
  6. I agree. Maybe tomorrow or even next week
  7. Yes, that's what I have heard. They will email to check the results and the status will have changed in ResearchNet.
  8. I have a feeling the results will not be released today. Do you guys think it matters that SSHRC results are being released today? Since CIHR uploads to ResearchNet I don't see how this is a problem.
  9. Do they upload the results in ResearchNET? Mine says "In Peer Review". Or a separate letter is mailed?
  10. I am really starting to wonder if we will hear back tomorrow?
  11. I think I am going to wait until the end of this week since they said results will be released by the end of April. I am going to email my department and maybe CIHR if we do not hear back by Thursday.
  12. No one in my department has heard either. I also do not see any posts on Twitter so I think they haven't notified anyone else yet.
  13. Looks like the CIHR post doc awards were announced today. Anyone heard about a date or anything for the doctoral ones yet?
  14. Oh wow that's amazing! Yes, unfortunately I am in the biomedical committee and I heard it is very competitive. It is hard to not get upset about these awards and relate this to future success of post docs, grants etc I saw the university nomination quota for this year was 750 and I am guessing 100 or so get funded?
  15. I've been trying to find estimates for this and sadly CIHR is much more competitive. I have seen 11-13% for the success rate. Whereas with NSERC PGS-D I see estimates between 40-45%. Chances are I will not get this but would be nice to know so I can move on.
