  1. DId someone not say they were waitlisted with a score of 13? Where do the fellowship scores fall then??
  2. I was beginning to get the same vibe... hoping it is not true. That would be a sucky way to announce results.
  3. This is so odd, it seemed that last night (around 5pm EST??) many universities were receiving word on their portal and notifying their students directly.. Wondering whether not all were informed or maybe the dept are just not telling students at some unis?
  4. I suspect this is one of the few successful apps from today; I saw a few of them on Twitter and there were a couple earlier in this thread this morning.
  5. It is one thing to not be transparent, it is another to send out a portion of the results a day ago and then not follow up with anyone at all. Do it all at once or at least make an effort to do it within the same day or two.
  6. Would this same logic apply to the Ontario Graduate Scholarship? Especially if students chose May 1 as their start date...
  7. I think it is totally *random* -- if someone got a rejection letter already with a login from yesterday, I do not think we can conclude that only winners have their logins. Maybe they are sending out an equal chunk of winners + rejections in each batch. They cannot have 3000+ people logging into the servers at once.
  8. What happened with NSERC? Were winners sent out their login info sporadically or did it seem front heavy? I would imagine SSHRC would take a page from their book if it was the first time they did it...
  9. They also just tweeted about the new Extranet so hopefully they will get things moving quickly now? Maybe our results will already be in there once we sign up for the account! The day is young!
  10. The website says under eligibility: have completed no more than 24 months of full-time study in their doctoral program by December 31 of the year of application (no more than 36 months if transferred directly from Bachelors to a PhD or enrolled in a joint program, e.g., MD/PhD, MA/PhD); Is the year of application not 2019? And the year of award would be 2020? So then it would apply to students going into Years 1, 2 AND 3?
  11. 1 hour ago I saw a tweet from Dalhousie congratulating their student for winning the SSHRC Joseph-Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship! I searched "SSHRC" on twitter and looked at the "latest" posts. Edit: I have looked into it more and I think that it may be the Masters competition..
