Hi Lucy, I did have an informal conversation the HM - however as they receive more than one candidacy from the FIT pool, which they may select from, it is important not to take this chat lightly, as you will be still competing with the others. Hope this is helpful. Best!

Hi everyone, I meant to write here sooner, to share some positive news regarding the HR FIT pool - I was confirmed to the pool in August 2020, and after about a 7 months wait, I was contacted regarding an opening, and alas! now I am a P3 HR officer working for the WFP! This is just to say that there are opportunities, and I know the wait is excruciating, but if there is an opening, WFP is committed to have the position filled from the FIT pool as they are looking to bring in fresh, new talent. Hope my story brings some encouragement. Best of luck to you all!

Hi - which talent pool were you accepted to? Never mind - found your earlier post fingers crossed that things will start moving soon! I am also in the HR pool but did not get any emails... curious if anyone else has..?

I don't think it's a bad sign - they did say the process can take up to two months. To top that, I didn't feel that great after my panel interview, and was super surprised when I learned they contacted my references. I still don't believe it means I passed the panel... May I ask what is your application status on the WFP career page? Mine reads: "Congratulations, you have passed through to the next phase of the recruitment process"

My panel interview was exactly one month ago, and they did contact my professional references, believe two weeks after...? - though I haven't heard back from Devex since.
