My top schools are: University of Minnesota - Twin Cities (US NEWS 9) Boston University (US NEWS 18) University of Iowa (US NEWS 20) Ohio State University (US NEWS 21) University of Colorado - Denver (US NEWS 26) University of Massachusetts Amherst (US NEWS 31) University of Southern California (US NEWS 34) I am very insecure in my application due to my background changes insufficient mathematical courses or poor grades, I am super proficient with Python with experience in data science, NLP, and little computer vision but not sure if it helps). Just a quick question, would you guys suggest me to retake GRE? I got 157 in quantitative and planning to shoot for master in statistic program, mostly in US News rank 50-100. I think it's the only weak area in my candidacy, I am worry because I see some admission information that a lot of them are 167+.

Your advice are most realistic and helpful, do you think I should bother taking online course like real analysis? I know it's a criteria for Ph.D. admission but not sure about Master. What school for Master do you suggests? It's hard to find school with funding, but I guess that's what make it less competitive than Ph.D.

Work Experience: Calculus/Stats Tutor, 2 years underwriting in insurance (non statistical related) LOR: One from mathematical statistics professor (fellow of ASA), one from finance professor for researching, and one from Physics professor. Math: Calc I, II (A+), Calc III (A), Linear Algebra (B), concerned with lack of mathematical background Statistics: Mathematical Statistics I (A-), Mathematical Statistics II (A) Please give me advice on any graduate school within my range. Should I strengthen my mathematical background by taking online courses (already graduated 2 years), how about real analysis via NetMath @ UIUC? Should I consider Master, I don't think I can afford many of them, and not sure which program funded Master. Thanks for any insight on moving forward Charlie
