Hey! How did your interview go? what did they ask? I am thinking of applying.
I am almost done with my Columbia and Tulane app. I will keep updated if I hear anything
Hey! Sorry it’s taken me so long I completely forgot to update the forum afterwards. The interview was OK, but I’m not too confident in it. She asked me normal questions i.e. what’s your social work interests, why social work, why UPenn and what experience do you have. She asked me about my CV and asked about things I mentioned on my application. I only provided academic references and she asked me to provide a work one, so I did. After that she said I’d hear back within two weeks. Still waiting lol but the lady was nice and has kept me updated.
I think UPenn is my last choice though. I got accepted into UMich which was great. Still waiting for final offer though

I recently received my acceptance to Temple and UPenn. I won't hear back from UPenn regarding financial assistance until early January. Temple did not provide any info on financial assistance/ scholarships. I have a very good GPA and am really hoping to get good scholarships and aid. Does anyone have any info about how much financial assistance/ scholarships these schools provide? I'm funding my degree myself and really don't want to go into more than 50k of debt. Is that a realistic goal?
congratulations!! when did you apply? do you mind sharing your stats? i'm in a similar position (as in dont want to get above a certain level of debt). I'm from the UK but there are quite a few scholarships available here for me to come abroad, but I also want to see if I'm offered anything from universities if i get in, as the scholarships here are super competitive and not guaranteed. do you have a first choice university?

Hey everyone (again)
is anyone considering UPenn? I got an interview with them which is in early November & im super nervous lol. any tips on preparing?
I made my final decisions and applied to Columbia, NYU, Penn & Michigan. I’ve completed all my applications now (except Michigan - waiting for the last letter of recommendation). I know it’s super early but I’m from the UK and was told when you apply super early they get back to you earlier too, but I’m watching this thread and will keep anyone who’s applying to the same schools updated ?

Hey lol I’m from the UK and worked on my application through the summer so when the applications opened literally was just good to submit. I applied to Penn, NYU and Columbia but also gonna apply to Michigan when it opens and then I’m done lol. Columbia is my first choice and Michigan is my second I think. I hope I get in tho ? apparently you still have to wait until like jan/Feb to hear back so it’s gonna be alottttt of waiting lol

Hey guys, I applied for admission to 3 grad schools for MSW. Have you submitted any applications? do you have a first choice?

They offered me $15K but still not much at allll in comparison to the cost of the course, sad as this is one of my top choices but now better financial aid offers from other universities could sway my decision ?
