I called and they said they were fixing it. Lol- when you have an assigned release date, how do you mess this up?
-
My portal says desicion made but when I click on it, it says check email. There is nothing in my email.
-
Anyone heard anything today?
-
Lol, that is pretty crazy. Anyone else heard?
-
I just want to make sure I understand, they are notifying people today it sounds like? And official letters will come Fri?
-

Program Applied To (MPA, MPP, IR, etc.): MPA, MPP Schools Applied To: CIPA, Batten Schools Admitted To: CIPA (waiting on funding) Schools Rejected From: Still Waiting: Batten Undergraduate Institution: senior military Undergraduate GPA: 2.6 (upward trend of over 3.0 last 2 years) Undergraduate Major: English Graduate GPA: 4.0 GRE Quantitative/Verbal/AW Scores: N/A Years Out of Undergrad (if applicable): 10 Years of Work Experience: 10 Describe Relevant Work Experience: 8 years military Strength of SOP (be honest, describe the process, etc): to compensate for low undergrad GPA I took 12 credits in Public Administration at the graduate level and got all As. Additionally, I have graduated the top of my class in a few military schools that showed a change in my priorities/maturity. Succeeded in a highly specialized field, mostly within special mission community for career. Combat deployment. I tailored my SOP around all that I have accomplished since undergrad but had I not struggled like I did, I may not have been able to handle adversity like I have etc. Strength of LOR's (be honest, describe the process, etc): I did not see them but I know they were very strong. I picked folks that actually knew me rather than trying to find some "big wig" to write it. Other: Not sure it matters but female service member

I haven't no. I emailed a lot in the fall and got the run around so didn't think it was worth it

Did anyone get their financial letter yet?
-
No not yet, they said we would hear today- but there have been a lot of delays so far
-
I got my acceptance today. I wouldn't read to much into not receiving a response yet; I was potentially their first applicant as I submitted it right when the portal opened- yet others heard before me.
-
I feel like today is the last possible day to hear before the holidays.
-
Let's hope, would be nice to hear end of day

When I saw the financial form- I kinda gave up a little inside. Like "oh lawd, we are just on this step?!" They made it sound like a decision was imminent.

Still nothing and im not too happy about it. I feel that their communication has been pretty bad. I applied in Sept, their website says 4-6 weeks- its been 3 months. I got it, covid and all. But they should have told us more. I have been reachng out to try to find out. I was first told 1 Dec, then told week of 1 Dec. I wrote yesterday, since 10 days over and now its just "soon"
-
Never heard from them this week
-
I checked in with them last week and it changed to hoping to have them out this week, instead of 1 Dec. Just for your expectation management..
-
No not yet?
-
Jennifer from admissions told me, for those that applied early, they hope to have decisions out by Dec 1.

Starting a thread for those applying to CIPA this application cycle, 20-21. I submitted my application 3 Sept and my last letter of recommendation trickled in on 11 Sept. I know that they accept applications on a rolling basis, I'm just wondering the speed of things with COVID? Based on past posts, I doubt anyone applied as early as I did, but has anyone heard anything?
