Anyone else pretty sure they're done? In its past, it's usually just rejections this late in. Not really sure why I'm posting, I wouldn't go this program now anyway... But I hope I'm wrong for all of those still waiting to hear good news from here!

There's a decent chance I'll be at Penn State Fall 'O9. Glad to see there's someone else on this board talking about this school! I'm not sure what to do about housing yet. I've done some looking online at the area. Have you been up there? What do you mean calling people for housing?

I have absolutely no information to add (sorry - really wish I did), but I just have to say that it's not normal how much it annoys me when gradcafe is down. I mean, it's not like I'm missing out on vital information, but it sure does feel like that!

Another school I just remembered that I applied to and haven't heard back from -- Maryland. They already accepted a few of you on here, so it's annoying that they can't just get back to the rest of us with our rejections already! My testudo status still just says 'decision pending' Anyone ever read 'No Exit' ? I'm definitely having my Sartre moments..."L'enfer, c'est les autres" has turned into...."L'enfer, c'est les graduate schools"

To the UC Davis poster: This just has to be a way or rejecting everyone, but letting them know it's going to take the graduate school the rest of the week to post results onto your account. Probably those who have been rejected have last names as the beginning of the alphabet, and those at the end of the alphabet will hear soon their rejection.

So can anyone who is at Penn State give us some information about the housing situation. I'd probably want a 1 br apt off campus, not surrounded by a million undergraduates. Are there any nicer areas you'd ecommend? Any idea on the price ranges?

Well, that at least ends speculation that they're not done admitting people. They're done.
