Just received my acceptance too! No word about ESOP though, did you have your interview yet?

Hey guys, So I'm having some trouble figuring out how to explain my disastrous academic history. Basically, I enrolled into university in 2015 for an arts related major, then realized that wasn't for me, and changed to a science major after one year at the same university. Since many of the courses I took on the first year were core courses for all majors, I was able to transfer some of my credits so I didn't have to take the same courses twice. On my CV I listed my incomplete arts degree from 2015 to 2016 and my current degree from 2016 to 2020 (I'm graduating in December and the school I'm applying to asked not to leave any gaps on the CV) . However, because of the credits I transferred, my transcripts for my current major show the courses I took in 2015, so it looks as if I actually started my current major in 2015 and took only two or three courses the first year. I feel like this would look as though I'm lying on my CV but have no idea how to address this or if I should even explain it in the SOP. I can't find a way to fit this explanation into the SOP without it looking wildly out of place. Any ideas?
