Things don't always go out in any logical order. Just gotta wait it out (or if you're really feeling it, an email probably wouldn't hurt).

Strangely I still haven't received any details from Eastman nearly two weeks after an generic interview invite email. 2 interviews upcoming and 5 more places outstanding, but probably only 2 of those are at all realistic. How to keep the neurosis in check? ?

Nope. Pretty antsy but nothing to do about it. Could be weeks before I hear anything more.

So don't know how they're doing it this year of course - last year I had some friends applying to the MM there. I believe the faculty reached out to them at some point to invite them to a non-mandatory campus visit (though this did not guarantee acceptance...). Not sure that really helps but that's what I got

For doctorate? I'd be quite surprised if you hadn't heard from Rice for DMA - for masters they don't do a formal interview. Don't know about the others. And thanks @DEFGECD, hope you get some good news from them soon.

No it’s not common. Where was this? The only place I’ve seen do similar is Indiana

Howdy. Yeah COVID is wrecking a lot of things and will probably just make this cycle even harder than normal (and at least next year's too). But what can you do. Haven't been able to figure out my list yet so probably should get on that....
