Surely, we'll bump into one another at an AMS meeting someday. edit: one piece of recent info that might be useful for you — somebody from your other school (which I believe you mentioned in a previous post) just landed a TT position beginning in Fall '21. The job wiki will probably reflect this soon, but it's extremely impressive considering the circumstances!

Congrats to whoever got into Eastman musicology off the waitlist! Meanwhile, I'm anxiously sitting here with zero acceptances and three waitlists (Eastman, Northwestern, and UNC). Crazy to think that at least two of these would have been outright acceptances in any normal cycle, but at least this means I had a strong app (and I'll have a stronger app if I have to reapply next year). All this to say: if you have an offer that you don't plan on accepting, please notify that program ASAP out of courtesy to those on waitlists!

Ha! We have the exact same results, although I didn't apply to CWRU (congrats!). I'm still waiting on one last program, but it seems promising.

I received the same "waitlist" email from UNC. Hopefully there will be better news later this month.

Got onto Eastman's waitlist for musicology. If anybody got accepted but doesn't plan on attending, please let me know. They're one of my top choices!

Congrats on UNC and Berkeley! I was rejected by Berkeley last night, but have yet to hear from UNC (fingers crossed that I've been waitlisted?). Did you also make it to the final round for Northwestern?

Welcome to the forum! Any chance that you've heard from Berkeley? Somebody reported a musicology acceptance on Friday evening but neither I nor anybody else I know who has applied (composers and musicologists) have received anything.

I've just heard of someone who received a rejection from comp @ Eastman. Hoping that means interview invites will be rolling out soon.
