I'm 50/50 between Eastman and another school, and I just removed my name from UNC's waitlist. For my own sanity, I assume I'll be making a decision by the end of the month. Best of luck!!!

Sure! Rejected by Harvard and UC Berkeley, waitlisted at Eastman and UNC Chapel Hill, accepted at Case Western Reserve.

Ugh that's so unnecessary! Don't they know we're losing our minds!? I'm glad you have options! Fingers crossed for the rest! I've heard back with initial results from all my schools now. 2 rejections, 1 acceptance, and 2 waitlists. So I feel more at peace than I did a week or so ago, but it's not done yet!

Not from U of Toronto, but that was essentially my message from UNC. I'm still in the running, but the number of additional acceptances to the program depends on what the deans say. So I'd guess that's a wordy way to say you're on the wait list? Fingers crossed its not like other programs still figuring out if they can take anyone. Such a weird year. Best of luck! I'm... Functioning haha. Schools certainly are taking their time! But I can't be too sassy with all the obstacles this school year has brought.

I'm a current MA Musicology student at IU! Do you know who you'll be meeting with? My interview was 3 years ago, in-person, so I'm not sure how things are working now. When I interviewed (again, granted, it was an MA), they had pretty typical questions: what interests you in musicology, what are your research interests, why IU, career goals, etc.

Y'all I'm about to kill UNC haha. Looks like acceptances and a rejection have gone out for musicology. My application page updated to say that they periodically send email updates yet...no email. It's driving me bonkers!
