Hi guys, My GRE is 165+166+5, and my gpa is 3.5. I got three strong recommendation letters, two RA research experiences and one research with fellowship. I plan to apply for top social sciences MA programs, but I am gonna admit that in my freshman year at college, I used a calculator during a math final exam which required students not to use calculators. Thus, I have an academic dishonesty record (although it's not on my transcript, I got a C for that course after getting 0 on the final). I'm 100% responsible for that misconduct and I will confess and wrote a letter to admission offices/the online apps. My dean said that she would help me write a letter to admission offices as well to support me. I certainly understand that it's my fault, and I'm gonna be honest with it and show my academic progress after that. I'm wondering if the chance of getting into top social sciences programs is gonna be 0? Thank you guys so much!!!
